Pulse Oximeter - Heart Rate and Oxygen Monitor App App Reviews

80 add

Completely Inaccurated

Tested many times against a clinical grade pulse oyx device and never got an accurate reading especially on the O2 sats. Heart rate was closer to correct but still off. This app said I had a 99% oxygen saturation when measured against a clinical pulse oyx device measurement of 92%...that is a great discrepancy. As a person who has to measure her Oyx sats regularly I strong discourage you not to waste your money on this app. Thank you.

Dont waste your time ... Junk

Highly inaccurate, inconsistent, and half the time it doesnt work. Stay away from this app, youll just be wasting your time

Doesnt work half the time

When it works it seems to be accurate but at least half the time it wont read.

Pulse Oximeter - Heart and Oxygen monitor

According to your instruction, this app doesnt work at all, it is disappointing!! After latest update, this app functions very well, will you make it function with iPad as well. Thanks for your efforts great wishes and best regards

Waste of money

Dont think it works and gives accurate results. I have compared with pulse and oximeter device and has huge difference.

Great!!

I like how easy it is and fast.. It connects to my "heart " app and gives me info quickly!!

Oximeter App does not work properly

Followed directions but app only works 20% of the time. Often Oximeter scores quick but heart rate never takes. I wish I could get my money back.

App

Im at parkland hospital using this app and I find this app is not accurate! the oxygen meter is ok, but when you dealing with your health you cant just trust this app!

Retired

Nicely done. Works just fine on my 6s.

Dont bother

Wont measure below something like 93% when it works. Reads 3 to 4 percent high. Useless.

Seems okay

Those who purchase for medical reasons, stop. The publishers own statement disclaims it for that purpose. That said, the HR monitor seems reasonably consistent with my Sole treadmill HR monitor. I have to wonder about the SpO2 accuracy though, so I gave it an average 3 star review. Heres the problem: I cant tell when I am getting a good reading. Am I pressing too hard? Too lightly? If I put the camera in the middle of the tip of my index finger and press just enough to feel the camera, I usually get a Super Healthy result. If I just "lay" my finger on it, it reads way low, like if I really have O2 that low Id be on oxygen. So which is it? Better instructions please.

Waste of money

It is not accurate on either the bpm or o2 stats. Compared results with a reliable pulse oximeter it was wrong every time and not just a beat or two. More like 30-40 bpm difference and a 3-5% difference on the o2.

Oximeter Does not work

The Oximeter does not work well at all. It is constantly 5 to 6 percent higher than medical quality Oximeter reads. Very disappointing.

Mrs. STEVANS

I dont believe it actually tests anything. Waste of money! Dont buy!

Mom was 56%, App showed 98%

Is is the biggest waste is money ever! Do not buy! My mom was dying of respiratory failure and while waiting for the paramedics to show up I used this app. It read that she was 98%. The paramedics pulse O2 sat showed 56%. Even in the ER it was not accurate. I want my money back!

App

This app seems to work perfectly for me when I compared to my medical machine I get almost the same reading Ives read the other reviews but I think its in their user errors I have mine in a case that keeps my finger just slightly away from the camera it may be that their case is changing the color slightly

Good app.

Im the go-to unofficial Apple/tech guy @work in the hospital. This app is good and pretty accurate when compared to our professional equipment. Wouldnt open after iOS 9.3 update. Deleted and reinstalled and works good again. Enjoy. Worth the $$$.

The best on iOS!

The best functionality on iOS (and Ive tried them all!) This is the only app that has been able to reliably read my racing pulse (I am a tachycardia patient). Comparable results to my $400 medical fingertip pulse oximeter. Possibly ~1% optimistic on the oximetry , but far better than any other Ive tried! Also, the friendliest, most helpful and responsive customer service as well. They genuinely care about their product and clients. My highest recommendation!

Unreliable

I tried this 5 times in a row and got very different results each time. According to the device my pulse was somewhere between 54 and 89 beats per minute ... Oxygen levels varied between 94 and 99 percent. Cannot recommend until the tool can at least give consistent results.

Doesnt work

Not accurate at all. Compared to good quality O2 meter and it never matches data.
